Barista/Coffee Art Courses

The Barista Coffee Art Course is a 3 hour addition to the 4 hour course Barista Coffee Course (Level 1). The course is held during the afternoon, following the lunch break at an additional cost of $75.00. The course is designed for new coffee entrants to enable them to refine their basic coffee skills learnt during the morning course. The course covers:

• Preparing a range of espresso coffees;
• Preparing your milk for coffee art;
• Layering of coffee;
• Coffee machine operation;
• Free pouring;
• Coffee art techniques;
• Mixing;
• Practice each coffee on the menu;
• 1 hour of free supervised practice (4pm to 5pm);
• Job referral Information.

This program is based upon the nationally accredited Unit of Competency 'Prepare and serve espresso coffee' (SITHFAB204) by the Australian National Training Authority. Participants receive a certificate of participation in this training course.
