Food Safety Handler Course

Any business that serves food must ensure that members of their staff hold certificates in food safety hygiene.

This nationally accredited course has been designed for people involved in food preparation and provides basic hygiene principles for all food handlers.

Food Safety Handler Certificate covers:

  • Correct storage temperatures;
  • Dealing with danger foods;
  • Personal hygiene for staff members;
  • Cleaning food preparation areas;
  • Prevention measures in the kitchen;
  • Pest control.
Note: Students on a Student VISA (subclass 500) are not eligible for enrolment.

National Accreditation

This program is based upon the nationally accredited Unit of Competency 'Prepare and serve espresso coffee' (SITXFSA001) by the Australian National Training Authority. Participants receive a certificate of participation in this training course.

Registration can only be confirmed when full payment is received. No refunds are available within 7 days of the workshop. A substitute participant is welcome to attend if you cannot. Hospitality Training Australia reserves the right to alter the program without notice.

Note: As a part of Health and Safety standards, please ensure that you wear adequate footwear such as closed-in shoes to participate in this course.
